Ammie believes in sharing. Sharing is what got her to where she is today. Sharing is going to help her on where she is going tomorrow. Sharing spurs competition. Competition spurs new ideas. So, sharing is good for the world.
Every year Ammie takes on a handful of wedding photographers with varying skill levels to learn her style, techniques and tricks. This is an intense hands-on learning experience at a live event combined with pre/post event analysis and coaching. While you learn a lot about shooting, Ammie’s program emphasizes people and time management. Getting the best pictures is a relationship between you, your camera and your subjects. Most of which have never been in front of a professional lens before. It takes more than just saying “cheese”.
Time management on the other hand gets you ahead of the game. Clients have always been dazzled with Ammie’s uncanny ability to be in the right spot at the right time without anyone knowing she is there, always getting the shots they dreamed about. This level of shooting is an unnatural act for most photographers. It requires a discipline that is above and beyond; while putting every ounce of one's life and passion on film.
If this sounds like something you want to do, send an email to Ammie. Please, don’t just send us a link to your portfolio. Tell us all about yourself. We want to know where you are and where you want to go.

For the past six years Ammie has organized outdoor adventures creating one of largest and well-known groups in the bay area. Bring your camera, your tripod and your best hiking boots. Some trips are planned out in advanced, others last minute. Turnouts range from a handful to a small army at some events. Locations range from local spots to remote parts of the world. Meet new people, learn new things.
If you want to join in these adventures please send us an email and we’ll add you to “Ammie’s list”. And of course, all events are free.
Update June 11, 2007
Since sooooo many people are wondering, when is Ammie’s next expedition? Ammie has another incredibly crazy schedule this year, she is fully committed through January 2008. But don’t worry Ammie is (hopefully) sticking to her wedding/travel cap for 2008 to make time for these fun events.
